The Suzuki GS150R, which will take on Bajaj’s Pulsar 150 DTS-i, Hero Honda Hunk and Ambition, in the 150cc segment, is competitively priced at Rs 59000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Suzuki GS150R bike is 2095mm in length, and 775mm in width, 1120mm in height. The bike is sleek with bikini fairing and pilot lamps, horizontally cut twin LED stop lamps with built-in turn indicators on both sides of the bike. The instrument console of the Suzuki GS150R has a digital speedometer, odometer and tripmeter, and an analogue tachometer. The Suzuki GS150R offers two modes: Power and Economy. The Power mode allows the rider to gun the bike while the Economy mode helps conserve fuel. The wheelbase of the bike is 1340mm and ground clearance is 160 mm. The Suzuki GS150R comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, wit 2.75 - 18 front and 100/90 18 rear tyres.
The Suzuki GS150R has a front disc brake, 1300 mm rear drum brakes, telescopic forks and gas charged twin shock absorbers. The engine of the Suzuki GS150R is said to be convenient for riding in the city. The 150cc engine respires through a BS26 carburetter. It comes with Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS). The Suzuki GS150R has a peak power of 13.8 bhp at 8500 rpm while the peak torque of 13.4 nm at 6000 rpm. The bike offers six speed transmission, and a gear shift 1-down, 5-up. The engine uses engine balancer technology to minimise vibration and comes with a rubber damper and a balancer shaft. The Suzuki GS150R is expected to provide a mileage of 50kmpl (City) and 55kmpl (Highway).
The Suzuki GS150R is available in Pearl Nebular Black, Mettalic Flint Gray, Candy Max Orange, and Candy Dark Greenish Blue.
